Ok. I’ve got a headache. I’m writing with a damn headache because I’m pissed off.
For those of you who are still confused about UncleBob’s declaration, let me clarify. I did not write the entry.

That having been said, I found nothing offensive in his entry. In fact, I thought it was pretty good, as I stated two days ago. Honestly, it wasn’t smacking on different sexual orientations and if you thought it was, reread the damn thing. It’s not. No more than UB ever smacks on anyone. You don’t get all out of sorts when he riffs on stupid people (excuse me, Cognitively Challenged????) or fat people (Adiposely Gifted???) or even people who shop at Wal-mart (sadly, the most Politically Correct term I can think of for this group is The Retail Clueless). Just because he makes a few dick swallowing jokes doesn’t mean that he’s gay bashing. But maybe I’m just missing some big uber hatred thing in there, but cripes people, put down your “Embrace Diversity” banners for just a second and think. He was stating that he was confused about it. He was asking for understanding. This call to arms to “protect the gay people” is just patronizing. What makes you think that they need to be protected? Or that you are the Patron Saint of Queer Folk? By making it a taboo subject, you’re doing far more disservice than you realize. Not everything needs to be santized for our protection.
For the record, (and this coming from the girl who has dibs on BadSnake and I fully intend on doing some hottubbing the next time I visit the Rancho Lesbiano) I personally don’t know what I’d do if ever presented with someone else’s bare naked vagina a few inches from my face. Does that make me a homophobe? I think not, but maybe it does. I mean, my best friend Mary Kaye, lesbian extraordinaire, once gave me a pin that said “Straight But Not Narrow” but who knows? Maybe that makes me just a curvy round liberal hippy girl on the outside and a flag burning neo-Nazi skinhead on the inside. Send hate mail to the guestbook. Remove me from your buddy list. Do whatever you’ve got to do to feel good about yourself in the morning. Just don’t jump on someone for being narrowminded when it’s obvious that you didn’t read the damn entry with an open mind.
Man. I had more to say but now I’m thinking that the people who get it already get it and the people who don’t, never will.
Oh, this sucks. Widower has bid the online community adieu. That makes me want to cry, even though I respect the heck out of his decision. It’s selfish of me really. I want him to keep writing because I really enjoy reading his work. He’s one of the best writers I’ve read online. Scratch that. He’s a phenomenol writer. Period.
While I was at lunch, I got a call from my good friend Markus. It seems that he’s accepted a new job in North Carolina and will be moving in like 10 days. While I’m excited for him, I’m also really sad because I’ll miss him bunches. Even though I haven’t seen him much in the last year, he’s always in my thoughts and it’s just nice to know that he’s only a mile away.
Aw crap. I had more to say but now I’m just grumpy and I’ll probably delete this entry in a couple of hours. Gah. Have a good weekend.
